Some children who are having problems in school may need extra help through special education. Special education is for children who have disability.
School must follow certain procedures to decide if a child is eligible for education. These procedures are written in state and federal laws. The special education laws and procedures are complicated and can be hard to understand. If you have a disabled child, the exact diagnosis doesn’t matter because the problems, worries and fears covered here are those common to all parents in a child situation.
All special children need to make them feel like one of you, understand them and also give them support. All special children whether it’s mentally or physically disabled, deformed, autistic or different in any other way should never be rejected, either when conceived, when born, or when they reach adulthood. Their vulnerable is a gift from God, not least by reminding us of our own weakness and dependence on him.
When parents discover that their child is autistic, some of them became confused devastated and broken hearted. They describe the trauma as “having a knife stuck into the heart” or like a “black sac was being pulled down over their head”.
Having a child with Autism has a major impact on the family. Parents shouldn't think that raising a child with disability is a curse. No matter how bad the behavior or situation, there is always a solution.
Parent’s dreaming that one day that their children enter to the school but others are not aware to help in the intervention of children’s education. Some parents ask questions to professionals about their recommendations, but some are not, because they have already a background.
